Croatian Grandmaster (1976) who won the Yugoslav Championship in 1976, Croatian champion in 2005. He played on several Yugoslav (1982-1990) and Croatian (1992-1996) Olympiad teams. Croatian U20 champion 1968 and 1969. Study Economy. Coach.
Best results: He was equal 1st at Varna 1974, won Stip 1979, Sombor and Osiek 1980, Banja Luka 1983 Wijk aan Zee II 1986 and equal 1st at Banja Luka 1983 and 1987, Belgrade GMA 1988, Torionto 1990, Ptuj 1995. he won also several local Opens.
The last years he was coaching the national Croatian team.
