Noteboom Daniël Jr. (26.02.1910 – 12.01.1932)

Dutch master who died at 23 years old due to a double pneumonia.

Second at Scarborough 1930, finished fourth at Nice and Brünn 1931. I n a match he drew with Landau in 1928 (+1-1=3), won against Landau in 1931 (+5-3=1), lost to Euwe in 1931 (-3=3) and to Landau again in 1931 (+1-5=1).

A participant in the Olympiads of 1930 and 1931 where he received the award for the best individual performance at board 3.
